Advanced Javascript Animations:
Taptheme will include advanced javascript animations to emulate iOS and Android mobile interactions. See your menu items swipe and flip like magic at your finger tips with data transitions. jQuery Mobile includes a set of six CSS transition effects: slide, slideup, slidedown, pop, fade, and flip. This was not an attribute that was included in Taptheme before. Data transition effects will make your site seem slick and sleek!
Use of jQuery Mobile Theme Roller:
You will have the ability to use the jQuery Mobile Theme Roller and simply update your entire color scheme with the use of http://jquerymobile.
Joomla Module Chrome:
Taptheme will be fully customized with Joomla module chrome to allow multiple types of mobile menus using Joomla's core menu system. We are currently in the process of updating Taptheme so that Joomla menus will work for the different jQuery mobile menu types such as dropdown, flip over, etc. Just set your module positions and you're ready to go!
Soon Supporting Popular Mobile Devices:
Taptheme will soon support most mobile devices while previous versions of Taptheme only supported the iPhone, Android, and iPad. Joomla Component Compatibility:
We are currently testing different popular Joomla components compatible with Joomla 1.7 and 2.5; then, plan to assess various templates. An alpha release of Taptheme will be announced in February 2012, followed by a beta version. Please submit what components you recommend testing!
