We've just released an updated version of our iPad Joomla template with 2 updates to the sidebar.

1. JavaScript Hide/Reveal Sidebar - We're now using a simple JavaScript method to reveal and hide the sidebar in portrait mode. Previously we used a CSS method which wouldn't hide the sidebar after you clicked to reveal it.

2. Dynamic Sidebar - The sidebar (pad-side) module position will now only display if a module is present on the page. If there is no module, the content will automatically expand to 100% width. This is fairly standard in Joomla templates but got overlooked due to the complexity of the sidebar in portrait and landscape iPad modes (sorry about that :).

The updated version is now available to download from our store for all current customers.

The design for TapTheme Android is well underway! Much like our iPhone & iPad Joomla templates, TapTheme Android will be a frontend template for your Joomla site which mimics a Google Android app for your site visitors on phones running the Android OS.

Your Joomla site will automatically load TapTheme Android with the aid of our free Joomla TapTheme Plugin, which changes your site's template based on the browser of your visitor.

This little Joomla template quickly rose to a top seller and mobile development became an obsession of mine. Unfortunately, it was buried among all the other templates from JoomlaPraise.
